Psalm 55:22
Cast thy burden on the Lord. And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
According to the dictionary. Burden is a difficulty that is heavy to carry. Sometimes there is sorrow or guilt involved and sometimes bearing a heavy worry or concern for others can be a burden. We can ask the Lord to take our burdens. He can carry our symptoms, stressors, and help us to turn things over. When you are responsible for many things because of a duty you have been called to just ask Him to take you to His peace. It’s a promise to be sustained by His love. He promises to be ever-present in times of trouble. To be sustained is to be given relief, and to be given the support you need. It can even mean He provides nourishment, supernatural blessings for you to endure, and He wants to be your strength. For He will abide in you.
Let’s stay in His Word. He will help us carry on and He will carry us through any burden we may have!
