Now believe and go in peace.
Jesus prays to be glorified and spoke to the Father. He also prayed for His Disciples. John 17: He will glorify the Father by finishing the work of the Father and we are granted eternal life through Jesus who has died to save us from our sins. It is on my heart to tell the world about Jesus and it says that eternal life comes from the One True God. Jesus was sent as a man to bring glory to the earth. We need to obey His word to glorify Jesus and to have life everlasting!
Jesus said I am not praying over the world. He is praying for the people who have been with Him before he leaves them.
Jesus makes it clear:
“all I have is yours” he says, and “I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world.” He is asking Holy Father in heaven to protect His people. He was preparing to go to Heaven and to transition.
stating:
-scripture would be fulfilled.
Jesus says to Heavenly Father: “they may have full measure, of my joy with them.” And He has given the Lords word and taught his disciples and the world has hated them. He is asking for His people to be sanctified (set apart). He asks that the people who are not of this world but of Him (in Jesus) be protected. Jesus did make it known He was from the Father. He prayed that His people who go out for Him would be consecrated for the Word of the Lord.
We will be made sacred as we represent Jesus in this world.
